Enjoy a spring bird tour guided by Jim Regali. We'll be visiting the 161-acre Coyote Spencer Wetlands. This property's intact wetland habitats are home to an impressive variety of birds, plants, and wildlife, many of them native to our region. We will spend the morning hours exploring life along the edges of emergent wetlands and wet prairie fields and peering into the understories of the extensive oak and ash forests...bring your binoculars!

The Coyote Spencer Wetlands property was purchased and protected by the McKenzie River Trust in March 2012. Help us add a new species to our CSW bird list! This property is located in Eugene's backyard just 5 miles southwest of Highway 126 and upstream of Fern Ridge Reservoir.

This tour is open to all skill levels. Only an interest in nature is necessary.

Registration opens one month before event.
