Friends of Finn Rock Reach
The Friends of Finn Rock Reach group is comprised of community members from throughout the McKenzie Basin, from Eugene to Sisters. This group meets regularly on every First Friday on-site at Finn Rock Reach (March through November) to help remove invasive species, care for footpaths and remove any litter left by users of the boat landing. This group is a fantastic way to get involved with the upriver community, meet new neighbors and give back to one of the most popular recreation destinations on the McKenzie.
The McKenzie River Trust is a nonprofit land trust that protects critical habitat and scenic lands. Beginning in the McKenzie basin in 1989, our service area has since expanded to include watersheds throughout Lane and Douglas counties, protecting more than 5,000 acres of land for future generations to enjoy.
